Before and After School Care

The YMCA has it all - quality and convenience at a great price. Structure is very important and is a key part of our curriculum. Before school, children will have an opportunity to do an activity in art, science or perhaps literacy. There will also be time for a teacher led class discussion. Upon returning in the afternoon, there will be more opportunities for teacher led discussions, snack, outdoor activities, art, science or literacy projects and homework program. Part of our mission is to help children become responsible members of society so each month children will be involved in a service learning project.

After School Childcare

The After School Childcare program is licensed childcare for children in kindergarten though third grades. We have both before and after school care. The program follows all policies and procedures for child care centers in Title 22 of the state regulations. The State Department of Social Services has the authority to interview children or staff, inspect or audit child or child care records without parent or prior consent. Our facility license number is 570311589.

Before and After School care are available at the following YMCA location:

Recreation Program

We offer a morning Recreation Program and an after school Recreation Program. These programs are designed to create an environment for 4th-8th grades to work on homework and participate in age appropriate enrichment activities while following the program goals of the YMCA. Recreation programs are not licensed childcare.

Mini Camps

On non-school days we offer full day care, for an additional fee. Our mini camps are a miniature version of activities that we run during our summer camp. Activities might include field trips, special guests, arts, crafts, archery, scavenger hunts and themed days.
