Tea & Talk Series

Join us for a chat! The Tea & Talk series is a time to build connections with others in our community through guided conversation topics over tea or coffee.

Tuesday from 11:00am to 12:00pm

Topics:

  • April 19th: Grateful Good Morning - Sip tea or coffee and share the things in life we’re grateful for. Learn about the power of gratitude.
  • April 25th: Person, Place, Thing - Share about people who have influenced your life, places you love, and things you find joy in.
  • May 3rd: Recipes that Nourish - Gather with community and share some of your favorite recipes that nourish your body and taste buds!
  • May 10th: Watch and Listen - Have a cup of coffee with community and share books/audio books we love.

WOODLAND:

Children's Music Lessons with MUSIC MATT

Who: Children ages 4 to 6 years old

What: Half hour music classes with long time kids music teacher, Music Matt. Your child will get to experience hands on playing of various instruments, in addition to learning the basics of reading music along with singing songs and even a bit of dancing to get the wiggles out!

When: Thursdays, 10:30 to 11:00 starting June 16th through August 11th. No classes week of July 4th. 

Where: At the YMCA, 1300 College Street, Woodland.

KINDERCAMP and EARLY LEARNING PROGRAM (ELP) students can get pulled out of class/camp by a staff person to attend Music class and then walked back to their program at the end of class.

Cost: $70 for YMCA members and $80 for Community members
