Woodland YMCA Fitness Center

Dear YMCA Members,

As you may have heard, the Governor of California has ordered all indoor fitness facilities to close effective today to help combat the spread of COVID-19 in the region. We are as disappointed as you are and enjoyed having you back with us this month, but we are following State and local public health guidelines to keep our communities safe. Fortunately, we have our virtual and outdoor fitness options available to keep you fit, active, and social during this temporary closure.

Virtual Fitness has expanded to over 38 classes per week: www.ymcasuperiorcal.org/virtual
Outdoor Group Fitness Classes will continue, and we are exploring adding more to meet your needs. View our schedule and make a reservation at www.ymcasuperiorcal.org/reservations.

For those of you who joined to utilize the fitness equipment and are not interested in fitness classes, we are asking you again to please #StayWithUs. We know times are difficult, but if you choose to donate your Membership dues to the Y, you are supporting our mission to meet the need in the community by providing summer meals to children while schools are closed, summer care opportunities for kids of essential workers, and provide virtual social opportunities to isolated seniors. If you cannot afford to support at this time and need to put your Membership on hold, please email us at membership@ymcasuperiorcal.org.

Thank you for supporting the Y

You may have a number of questions regarding our opening, please view our Frequently Asked Questions page, but please reach out to us if you have any further questions.

To ensure the health and safety of our members, staff and community,
we have made updates to our policies and programs.
Let’s work together to keep the Y a healthy place for everyone.

Reservations: At this time reservations are required to enter the YMCA. Make your reservation at www.ymcasuperiorcal.org/reservations.

Health Check at Entrance: Please do not come to the YMCA if you have a fever, are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone who is ill. Temperature checks will be conducted for all entering the facility. Temperatures over 100.4 will not be permitted to enter.

Face Coverings: If indoors, workers and patrons must wear face coverings at all times except when showering. Showering at home is encouraged where possible. The California Department of Public Health exempts workers and patrons from wearing face coverings while engaged in exercise outdoors, as long as they are able to maintain a distance of at least six feet from others.

Wipe Down Equipment Before & After Use: Cleaning materials with disinfectant provided throughout facility.

Sanitize: Wash hands frequently and utilize hand sanitizer provided throughout the facility.

Keep Your Distance: Maintain social distance. Please exercise only on designated equipment and respect all signage regarding social distancing. Strive to maintain at least 6-feet between you and others when possible.

Limit Belongings: Come in your workout clothing and bring your own mat, sweat towel, and water bottle. Locker rooms are limited, mats are temporarily unavailable, and no drinking from water fountains.
