Dear Members,

Starting Tuesday, June 15, the YMCA will update our operations and Membership Experience to align with the new State and County guidance for the fitness industry.

SACRAMENTO CENTRAL YMCA
  • Masks will only be required indoors for those who are unvaccinated against COVID-19. (Except when in the indoor pool).
  • The Sacramento Central YMCA will no longer have a midday closure. Hours will also be expanding:

    Friday: 5:30am - 8:00pm
    Saturday - Sunday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
  • The pool will be open during all hours of operations. Reservations are no longer required for the pool. We have updated the schedule to reflect hours for Lap Swim, Rec/Open Swim, and Water Fitness Classes. Water Fitness Classes will return in a few weeks. During lap swim hours, the maximum capacity for each lane is 3 swimmers.
  • Cardio equipment has been moved from the gym and returned to the cardio room.
  • For Group Fitness Classes we will be keeping the reservation system so that we can contact you for updates about your classes. However, capacity in those classes will be rising.
  • The gym will be available for basketball and other activities when Group Fitness or Youth Sports is not scheduled. To inquire on availability, e-mail membership@ymcasuperiorcal.org or call 916.452.9622.
