CPR & First Aid

CPR course covers adult, child and infant CPR and how and when to use an AED. You will learn the basic techniques for CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). You will also learn First Aid for choking. Course meets child care licensing requirements and California Teaching Credential requirements.

First Aid course covers injury assessment, bleeding control, fractures, strains, sprains, burns, care for shock and other medical illnesses.

Participants will receive a two-year certification. These courses are American Health and Safety Institute Approved program. Course meets OSHA approved standards. An electronic course work manual is provided.

Saturday Classes 9-3:00pm

(CPR 9-12pm and First Aid 12:30-3:00pm)

CPR/AED and First Aid

  • $75 YMCA Members
  • $85 Non-YMCA Members

CPR/AED only or First Aid only

  • $45 YMCA Members
  • $55 Non-YMCA Members
Basic Life Support Cert- Must notify YMCA BEFORE the class date if you need this additional certification.
