Meet the Instructors
Glenn Bisquera
Born to teach, Glenn Bisquera spent 30 years as a physical education teacher before bringing his passion for coaching to the Rollingwood Pickleball courts. After retiring, he discovered Pickleball in 2019 and quickly fell in love with the sport’s energy, challenge, and community spirit.
Glenn’s teaching background shines through in his coaching style—encouraging players to learn, grow, and enjoy every moment on the court. Beyond Pickleball, he stays active skiing, hiking, paddleboarding, and practicing yoga, often sharing his love of movement with his three grandchildren.
His philosophy is simple: stay positive and be present—on and off the court.

Scott Allen
Scott Allen has been playing Pickleball long before it became the nation’s fastest-growing sport—over 30 years ago, using wooden paddles on a backyard court built by his brother-in-law. What started as a fun family activity eventually grew into a lifelong passion for the game.
A former tennis coach and PE teacher, Scott brings decades of experience in sports and coaching to his Pickleball instruction. He loves the social, fast-paced nature of the game and believes in keeping players active through constant movement and repetition.
Scott’s philosophy is simple: the more balls you hit, the better you’ll become. He focuses on fundamentals, strategy, and—most importantly—making sure players have fun while improving their skills.

Gail Kenney
Gail Kenney discovered Pickleball in 2017 after seeing a local news segment — and she’s been hooked ever since. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a passion for playing, competing, and teaching.
Now a certified instructor and USA Pickleball Ambassador, Gail helps grow the sport across the community. She teaches fundamentals, strategy, and advanced “soft game” techniques at Rollingwood and the Downtown Y, encouraging players of all levels to improve their skills and have fun along the way.
When she’s not on the court, Gail enjoys cross-country skiing, Pilates Reformer and TRX classes at the Y, walking her lab, and traveling. Her philosophy is simple: “If you’re not having fun, it’s not worth doing.”
