Training & Certifications

Build skills that save lives and set you up for success. The Y offers Lifeguard Training, CPR/First Aid, and Babysitting Certification courses that prepare participants for real-world emergencies and childcare. Courses include CPR/AED for all ages, First Aid, lifeguarding techniques, and safe, responsible babysitting practices. Certifications meet child care licensing and California Teaching Credential requirements, with instruction led by certified American Red Cross trainers.

ROLLINGWOOD ROCKETS

The Rollingwood Rockets are a recreational swim team offering high-quality professional coaching and technique instruction for children between the ages of 5 to 18 with various swimming abilities. The goal of the Rockets is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to experienced competitor.
