The YMCA Summer Sports Camps keep kids active while building confidence, teamwork, and sports skills. Each week focuses on a different sport or theme and is designed to support skill development in a safe, encouraging environment. Camps are led by YMCA staff and adapted for each age and ability level.

Summer Camp Schedule

All American Sports Camp

Ages: 6–11
Dates: June 29–July 2 (4-Day Week)

Half Day: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Full Day: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Join us for four days of fun and excitement featuring classic All American sports like wiffleball, frisbee golf, kickball, ultimate frisbee, and dodgeball. Each day focuses on a different sport, giving campers the chance to learn new skills, stay active, and build confidence in a fun and supportive YMCA environment. Some activities may include fun twists like slip and slide elements during gameplay, with options available for children who prefer to stay dry.

Full Day: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM 

After an active morning outdoors, full day campers will spend the afternoon cooling down with a variety of indoor-focused activities at the YMCA. These include slime making, papier-mâché piñata creation, tie-dye day, and an Esports day, along with a trip to the Woodland Aquatic Center. Campers will wrap up the week by breaking open a counselor-made piñata. Please bring a lunch each day.

Esports Camp

Ages: 6–11

Full Day: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Calling all gamers. Dive into the world of competitive gaming at YMCA Esports Camp, featuring Nintendo Switch in our all-new Esports Room. Campers will spend the morning indoors enjoying structured gameplay, friendly competition, and skill-building activities led by qualified YMCA staff. This program creates a positive and engaging environment where players of all skill levels can build teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. No personal equipment is required.

Full Day: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM 
After a morning of gaming, full day campers will head outdoors for high-energy afternoon activities including kickball, dodgeball, wiffle ball, obstacle course challenges, and a trip to the Woodland Aquatic Center. Each afternoon will also include time for creative play with LEGO building, culminating in a fun building competition later in the week. This balanced schedule gives campers the best of both worlds with indoor gaming and active outdoor play. Please bring a lunch each day.

Junior Golf Camp

Ages: 4–8
Dates: July 6–10
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Tee off into fun with YMCA Junior Golf Camp. Campers will learn the fundamentals of golf through engaging games and activities designed to build coordination, confidence, and a love for the game in a supportive environment.

Led by our YMCA Golf Director, Nick Domke, this camp provides a fun and encouraging experience for all skill levels. With extensive experience in youth recreation, Nick brings a wholesome approach to teaching the game, helping campers develop not only golf fundamentals but also valuable life skills that extend far beyond the course. All equipment provided.

Basketball Camp

Ages: 6–11
Dates: July 13–17

Beginners: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Advanced Beginners: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Shoot, dribble, and score with us at Basketball Camp. Campers will build basketball skills through fun drills, scrimmage games, and teamwork in a positive YMCA environment. Two sessions are available: Beginners, ages 6–10, on 7-foot hoops from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, and Advanced Beginners, ages 8–11, on 8-foot hoops from 1:00–4:00 PM.

Led by YMCA staff member Jeremy Dye, this camp focuses on creating a fun, supportive environment where players can grow their skills and confidence. As a current AAU basketball coach, YMCA referee, and YMCA after school teacher, Jeremy brings a strong understanding of the game along with a great ability to connect with kids and keep them engaged on the court.

Soccer Camp

Ages: 5–12
Dates: July 20–24
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Open to ages 6–12, this week-long camp is packed with dribbling drills, passing practice, exciting games, and friendly matches. Whether your child is just starting out or already a soccer standout, they will build confidence, stay active, and have a blast with new friends.

Our camp is led by highly respected and experienced coach Uvaldo “UV” Enriquez, who brings over 30 years of experience and a State Level E/D Coaching License. Coach UV has led teams to multiple tournament championships, including a State Cup title, and brings a strong background in competitive youth soccer. He is passionate about developing players of all skill levels and creates a fun, structured, and growth-focused environment where players can build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy the game.

Sports Safari Camp

Ages: 7–12
Dates: July 27–31
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Explore a new adventure in sports with Sports Safari Camp, where each day focuses on a different sport to keep campers engaged, active, and excited to learn. From wiffleball and futsal to volleyball, flag football, and Olympic handball, this camp introduces kids to a variety of games while building coordination, teamwork, and confidence. Olympic handball, one of the fastest-growing and most exciting global sports, brings a unique and high-energy experience that kids love.

Led by Coach Dominic Huitt, campers will benefit from a knowledgeable and engaging coach with a strong background across multiple sports. Dominic has played baseball at both the high school and collegiate levels and continues to compete in adult leagues, while also bringing a broad understanding of athletics that allows him to confidently introduce and teach a variety of sports. His ability to connect with kids creates a fun, supportive environment where every camper can try something new and build confidence.
