CEO/CVO Report

Dear Donors, Members, and Friends of the YMCA of Superior California,

As we reflect on the past year, we do so with both honesty and deep gratitude. This was a challenging financial year for our YMCA, one that required difficult decisions, careful stewardship, and a renewed focus on sustainability. Yet, even in the face of these challenges, something remarkable happened: our impact grew.

Because of your generosity, belief, and commitment to our mission, we reached more children, families, and individuals than ever before. In communities across our region, the YMCA continued to be a place where people could achieve, relate, and belong—where barriers were reduced, and opportunities expanded.

As Chief Volunteer Officer, I am continually inspired by the dedication of our volunteers, donors, board members, and staff. Your collective leadership ensured that even in uncertain times, we did not step back—we leaned in. Together, we expanded access to life-changing programs, strengthened community wellness, and created safe, supportive spaces for youth and families who need us most.

This year’s annual report reflects both our resilience and our resolve. Guided by our strategic priorities, we remained focused on what matters most: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Our board played a critical role in this—providing governance, ensuring financial oversight, and helping secure the resources needed to advance our mission in meaningful ways .

While the financial realities were real, they did not define us. Our shared purpose did.

As we look ahead, we are both realistic and hopeful. We know there is more work to do to strengthen our financial foundation—but we also know that with your continued partnership, we will build on this momentum and deepen our impact even further.

Thank you for standing with the YMCA of Superior California. Thank you for believing in what we can accomplish together. And thank you for being part of a community that shows up—especially when it matters most.
