Child Watch is a service for facility members that allow them to pursue their own health and well-being, knowing that their children are safe, secure, and cared for in a positive environment.
We offer Child Watch as a FREE service to our Y Members. (Children must be active on YMCA membership)
Y members who have their children active on their membership account are welcome to bring their children to Child Watch (6months-8yrs) while they work out or attend a group exercise class. Notably, Y Members receive two hours per child per day. The hours of operation for these Child Watch areas are as follows:
Note: No peanut or tree nut products are permitted in ChildWatch areas or programs.

Child Watch is staffed by paid staff who are fingerprinted and reference checked. Each staff is also First Aid, CPR, and AED certified.
Yes, as long as they are labeled with your child's name and do not require refrigeration.
Child Watch staff work hard to comfort children should they cry or appear upset. However, if we are unable to soothe your child after 10 minutes, we will come and get you. Parents are encouraged to inform staff of any tips that may help their child feel more comfortable.
While we encourage you to come and acclimate your child, Child Watch is a childcare facility for members to use while they are working out. It is not designed to be a drop-in family play area. To ensure quality and safety, we ask that parents only "hang out" for approximately 10-15 minutes.
Children age six months and older are welcome to attend Child Watch. If your child is between the ages of six months and one year, please bring a carrier. Our staff is unable to do feeding or diaper changes. If your child is in need of something, we will send a staff member to locate you.
Child Watch is included with Household members and Adult or Senior memberships who have a Child Add-on on their account.
