Celebrating Ranger Week

This summer, we were honored to partner with Military Families Outdoors (MFO) to bring outdoor adventure and wellness to our campers during “Ranger Week” at Summer at the Y!

Military Families Outdoors, administered by the Defense Health Agency and the National Park Service, unites the expertise of Blue Star Families, Wilderness Inquiry, the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA), and The Center for Health & Nature. Together, they provide engaging outdoor wellness experiences for Service Members and military families across the country.

Thanks to MFO’s support, our campers had the chance to explore nature, learn about conservation, and experience the joy of outdoor play, all while building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the outdoors.

We’re so grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to serve military-connected youth through fun, enriching experiences at the Y.
