Capital YMCA Grand Opening

The YMCA of Superior California is excited to announce the Grand Opening of the Capital YMCA, a community-focused space in the heart of downtown Sacramento. This transformation of the former Capital Athletic Club creates a hub for health, wellness, and community connection.

The Capital YMCA is dedicated to helping individuals and families thrive in spirit, mind, and body. The Grand Opening event will celebrate the revitalized space and showcase the many ways it supports the downtown community. The YMCA invites the press, public, and local partners to join in the celebration.

• Date: Tuesday, January 7th, 2025

• Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Ribbon Cutting at 10:30 AM)

• Location: Capital YMCA, 1515 8th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

The Capital YMCA offers a wide range of programs and amenities, including:

• Outdoor pool and group fitness studios

• Fully equipped Pilates studio and gymnasium for youth and adult sports

• State-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment

• Coming in early 2025: Mind/Body Studio and Kids Club

The Grand Opening event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours, and opportunities to learn more about programs and services.
