The Y’s Health & Fitness programs are developed to help people at any stage of life build positive health habits. Participation in YMCA programs offers youth and adults opportunities for friendship and community, a sense of well-being, increased self-confidence and improved mental abilities.
We have a variety of cardio, strength training machines & free weights throughout our Centers to meet all your fitness needs.
Complimentary Health & Wellness Orientation
All YMCA members receive a complimentary Health & Wellness Orientation upon joining!
Schedule a 45-minute Health & Wellness Orientation to do a walk-through with one of our Trainers who will demonstrate specific exercises appropriate for different areas of the facility.
Group Exercise Classes
At YMCA of Superior California, we offer hundreds of group exercise classes each week at each of our three centers. Try them all and pick your favorites from classes types such as cardio, yoga, Zumba, strength & conditioning, water exercise, and senior classes.
Classes open on a limited basis at all open YMCAs, with new policies designed to protect member safety. Not comfortable coming in? No problem! Our YMCA360 platform hosts on-demand and livestream classes!
Personal Training Programs
Want some ongoing personal attention? Get a little extra help from a certified Y fitness trainer who will develop, monitor and modify your exercise program to meet your individual needs. Available at all of our YMCA Branches: Oroville, Sacramento, and Woodland.
Small Group Training
Find motivation, encouragement, and camaraderie in one of our Small Group Training sessions offered throughout the year. Small Group Trainings are comprised of 3 to 6 participants and one certified YMCA personal trainer.
