The lifeguard Instructor course will train and certify participants to become An American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor, valid for 2 years. We teach a blended learning course format that includes online education, classroom, and in-water components. American Red Cross requires all Lifeguard Instructor candidates to complete the American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Online Course before the first class date. Participants must be at least 17 years old at the time of the course. (Note: this is the current r.24 American Red Cross curriculum) 

NOTE: You must be an American Red Cross certified Lifeguard to take this course.

Friday 4:00 pm-9:00 pm

Saturday 9:00 am-6:00 pm

Sunday 9:00 am-6:00 pm

Lifeguard Instructor Review Course

This in-person Instructor review course is the required course for all Lifeguarding Instructors to re-certify. During this course Lifeguarding Instructors and Instructor Trainers will participate in an in-water practice and polish skills session in addition to a classroom-based review of Red Cross administrative policies and procedures. Lifeguarding Instructors may also choose to attend a brief "test out" session following this course to gain a basic-level Lifeguarding certification
