Change a life in your community today by supporting the Y-Assist Fund through our Annual Campaign.
Choose the location where you want your gift to support:
During the height of the pandemic, our Y served over 35,200 meals to our homeless population and 90,000+ meals to children who would have otherwise gone hungry during school closures. We offered childcare to 1,815 essential workers who would not have been able to work as other childcare facilities had closed down, and we made over 2,000 welfare checks to isolated seniors in our community.
Despite all of this great work, the need in our community as we recover from the pandemic remains great as well: The kids in our community are experiencing anxiety and depression at record levels due to the lockdown, our city is suffering from a shortage of childcare providers, and our community is at one of its unhealthiest levels due to lack of physical exercise.
For this reason, our annual campaign has never been so important. Partner with us as we rebuild our community and make access to our youth and health programs a reality for all.
Y-Assist? This is Why:
- Give children a safe and fun place to develop and interact with their peers
- Save lives by teaching safety around water and giving swim lessons to kids
- Keep our seniors healthy and connected by giving them memberships to participate in our wellness programs
- Keep at risk youth off the streets by enrolling them into our afterschool sports programs
SEE OUR IMPACT
When you invest in the Y, your dollars directly benefit individuals in your community. Your gift has lasting and meaningful impact and it is through your generosity that we are able to help those in our area who need us most.
WAYS TO GIVE
Expand youth experiences and opportunities, encourage individuals to become healthier, give families positive experiences, and help build a stronger community.
Your contribution to the Y can go twice as far as a matched gift. Thousands of companies match donations, made by employees, to organizations like YMCA of Superior California.
