Anfernee Williams

My name is Anfernee Williams and I am available at the Woodland and Sacramento locations.

I have a personal training certification from the American Council of Exercise. Also, I have a Bachelor's degree in economics. My background in fitness comes from Olympic Weightlifting. I was one of the strongest teenagers in the country, being that I was ranked 3rd nationally. Other physical activities that I enjoy are being a gym rat, playing football, and Crossfit. I played football in high school and I have done Crossfit in college. I have been training ever since the 6th grade, that is when I started Olympic weightlifting. My specialties include strength training, functional training/movement training, bodybuilding/body composition, weight loss, nutrition, and Crossfit/HIIT. I love working at the Y because the Y has given me the opportunity to achieve my goal which is to make science-based fitness/nutrition accessible to everyone.

Personal Trainer

I am available at the Sacramento Central YMCA.

I am a long-time athlete, with a love for sports and activity. I refused to allow fitness to leave me so I began transitioning that love and passion of being active and maintaining lifelong health to becoming a Personal Trainer.

I pride myself on being knowledgeable of sport-specific training, general reconditioning, weight loss, and cardiorespiratory fitness- a continuation of physical therapy.

PT Allison

My name is Allison Wilder and I am a trainer at the Sacramento Central YMCA. I am a lifelong athlete that has competed in track and field and trained in weightlifting for over 15 years. After my college athletic career, I shifted my priorities from former athlete to coach, and this is where I fell in love with being able to help people achieve their goals. I have coached at the collegiate level for the past 10 years. Being able to continue to guide an individual’s goal setting and progress in fitness has inspired me to become a personal trainer. Making the choice to come to the YMCA is an excellent starting point; sometimes the most difficult part of a fitness regimen is getting started. My ultimate goal is to help people stay healthy. I have a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes, travel, and try new restaurants. I also continue to train in track and field on the side. My specialty areas of training are general conditioning, weight loss, sport-specific training, strength, and general nutrition.
